It's my life

I love my life.

I love my job, my coworkers and everybody who is part of my life. I love doing things that make me happy and being around other people that make me happy.

Halloween costume battle

Planning on going to a Halloween party today (and just found out about it 4 days ago) which meant last minute costume shopping. Considering Halloween is on Wednesday there weren't a lot of options and after going to two different Halloween stores I was finally able to find one.

One thing I've noticed about costumes these days: they barley cover anything at all! They skirt isn't even long enough to cover your butt, the top is low cut so you boobs can show, and most of the time the costume comes in a "one size fits most" which usually means small. It really frustrates me that most Halloween costumes are made to fit small skinny girls with big boobs.

Can you tell you she is suppose to be a cop?
Don't get me wrong I would love to be able to pull it off, but being that I'm a bigger sized and curvy girl, it's just not going to work out. Not very many costumes come in a large size and I can't wear something that revealing to work on Halloween. This doesn't leave me with very many options. It really bothers me that Halloween costumes are targeted towards being skinny and looking "sexy." The costume I ended up buying is super short so I had to modify it, because personally I don't like my butt hanging out. Also the costume only came with a dress, no accessories. You can't really tell what I'm suppose to be without accessories consider it's just a small piece of fabric, so you are forced to buy the accessories separately, causing you to spend more money.

Honestly why the hell should I have to pay $60 to have a costume that only covers half of my body. The less fabric, the cheaper is should be!!

Sunday fun day

I love quiet and relaxing days with the boyfriend. Today Tyrel and I spent the whole day sitting on the couch while watching scary movies and carving pumpkins. We did this for 7 hours. And in 7 hours I was able to carve 3 pumpkins. Well it was one pumpkin but it has 3 different carvings on it.

There is pumpkin guts all over place, even though there was a trash can, but it was one of the best days I've had in a long time.

If you know who this is, you had an awesome childhood!

Again, awesome childhood if you know where this is from :)

I still have at least 2 more I want to do, but I need to get another pumpkin. These next 4 are ones that Tyrel worked on.

Birthday weekend extravaganza

What a wonderful and productive weekend! I don't feel like writing much, but Saturday was my little brother's 4th birthday! Hard to believe it's been 4 years already. I remember him when he was a tiny baby! Saturday of course was also the same day as the beaver game. And since I don't have cable at home I came over to my parents house to watch it.... Braylon wasn't too thrilled about it knowing I was taking him somewhere once the game was over.

Bored... haha
Once the game was over, I took the birthday boy, as well as Bailee and her friend to... Wacky Bounce! The kids had fun and I of course may have enjoyed it a bit myself.

After the kids were all bounced out we headed back home for cake and ice cream! A fun day for a well deserved little boy

Finally able to breathe

*sigh*

It's nice to be able to breathe once again. I have recently neglected this blog, aside from the random pintures, and the main reason is because I really haven't had the chance to actually sit and type on the computer. Life at work has been keeping me busy. Was struggling a little bit dealing with different issues in my life, which caused me major stress. I've also been having problems with a certain person at work, which has led to disagreements and arguments which eventually meant me giving in to that persons demands just to make it easier for both of us. I also felt lately I've been unsuccessful as a teacher. The kids have been acting out and not listening and I wasn't sure what to do. Needless to say I've felt tired, stressed and unhappy about life.

Well due to low numbers in the pre-k class and higher numbers in the wobbler room they needed an extra teacher. This of course was all my choice and I figured it would be nice to do something different to get my mind off everything. It's been a month and I can honestly say that this was the break my body needed. I feel happy and I get to "play" with babies and work with a wonderful group of new co workers.

Working with the wobblers is definitely different from pre k but it's something I could get use to. And even if it's only temporary I'm enjoying every minute of it!
