One year

Oh man how is that these sweet girls have been in my life for one whole year?! These girls just keep me busy and I love how they just keep each other busy and play with each other. Of course most of that includes taking each others toys, or Tayla crawling on top of her sister but either way they can keep them selves amused, which is nice.

Their birthday was a huge success. Super simple and easy. They were spoiled with lots of love and attention, as well as new clothes and a few new toys. We were given money to go towards new car seats too which is nice because if Tayla grows 2 more inches she will have outgrown her current carseat. And yes we are still using their infant seats. She is definitely my tall girl, by Ivy still beats her in the weight category.

When it came to cake time Tayla didn't last very long. She was signing "all done" after like 2 minutes. Mostly because she isn't a fan of her hands being dirty, and she was also tired. Ivy dove right in and ate it up! Speaking of signing; both of them have started catching on to sign language and can can sign more, all done and eat.

They had their well child check and we discussed how I decreased their bottles and started putting formula in sippy cups because I was tired of fighting with them to drink their bottles. They are way more interested in regular food. They still get bottles before nap and bed time. Although the doctor wants to stop those in a couple of months. Don't know how I feel about that but we will see how it goes. Both of these girls LOVE books. I love watching them look at them and turn the pages like they are actually reading it. Tayla has learned how to sit up on her own! Neither of them have any interest in standing or walking but they do like to army crawl everywhere. Ivy still rolls a lot too because it's faster for her sometimes. They like to clap, talk, make noise, put everything in their mouth and still enjoy following me around the house. Starting in May is when I will start to transition them to cow's milk, doctor wanted me to wait because of them being born early. I also started water babies with them! Something I've been wanting to do for awhile, but just needed someone to go with me because Tyrel has class on the days so he can't go with me.

I just love these girls so much. Happy (belated) birthday girls
