Portuguese family reunion
It's been almost 2 weeks since my last post. Normally I'm better about posting but lately I haven't been doing much that is worth writing about. My weekends consist of relaxing, which has been nice because I knew I had busy weekends ahead of me.
This past weekend I went camping for our bi-annual Portuguese family reunion! As tradition goes, it's normally held in Heppner, OR. But this year they held it in Blue River, OR. It was a beautiful drive up there and I look forward to our backpacking trip next weekend which is near that area as well. I want to say it's been over 2 years since we've been camping, and to me that's just too long. Normally Ty and I try to go every summer but both of us have just been so busy with work, neither of us haven't been able to take time off work. We are hoping that once Tyrel gets his new job we will have more time to spend together on the weekends and possibly more money to spend on vacations.

100 happy days part one
Some of you may have noticed the pictures I posted on instagram with the hashtag: 100 happy days.
On memorial day of this year I joined a challenge that everyday I would post a picture of something that makes me happy for 100 days. I've done pretty good so far. I think I fell behind one day. Some days were more difficult then others but I got to a point where if something would happen and it made me instantly smile I would try to snap a picture. I'm halfway through and I still have 50 more days to go!
So here are the first set of pictures I took.
A lot of my pictures involved food. It's not really something I'm proud of. But I can't help it. I love food!
