Just dance

I'm currently recovering from another fun filled night of dancing! And I say recovering not in a bad, I drank too much way, but the I didn't get enough sleep, and feet and knees hurt way. As much fun as it is to go dancing, I swear it feels like it's getting harder to stay up super late and have the energy to dance all the time. I've also discovered that my interest in wanting to go out all the time has decreased. Don't really feel the need to party and drink all the time. A lot of the time when I do go out with friends, I don't drink.

A friend of mine thinks I'm getting old, (I will be 27 this year) but I think it has to do with the fact I enjoy the simpler things in life. Stay home and spend time with your loved ones. Watch movies and cuddle, beach trips, go for a walk, play a game... the list goes on. Call me old school but I would much rather home and then go out all the time.

Anyway, I still had a good time. But last night popped a question in my head: When are you considered to be "too old" to go out dancing?

Vows

So while reading my latest blog entry, some people were curious about our non traditional, cheesy, and fun vows. Now our wedding was on a beach, I wore a blue dress, Tyrel wore a bowling shirt and the bridesmaids had on different types of dresses. Easy going, and non formal. How boring would it have been if we had just plain old vows? We got a lot of comments from them and a few people didn't like it, but it didn't matter. What mattered is that we had fun. The vows described us as a couple. We know we love each other, and we didn't need to prove it by being all mushy, lovey dovey.

So as requested here are the vows we did for our wedding. Enjoy!

Brynna i love you. i am me, strange, goofy looking, and nerdy. but for some reason you think im cute. you love me which is why we are all here standing on this beach. as long as you promise to keep thinking im cute i will keep being me. i will be marlin to your dory, trying to keep you from getting distracted. i will be the wesly to your buttercup, this is true love and i will always come for you. when the zombies come i will always have your back… provided you stay calm and KEEP UP. i promise to always be your player one, pointing out the right direction and stealing the best loot. life isn't fair, its difficult and complicated, and i will always be there when it gets you down with a hug, flowers and the occasional daiquiri. i am the key master

Tyrel, I never thought I would be happy again, until I met you. You proved me wrong with your gentle personality and kind smile. I’m broken and imperfect and yet you still love me. You make me happy and always know how to make me laugh, even when I don’t want to. I am the Leia to your Han and I will save you when you are frozen in carbonite. I will always be your player 2, to provide you back up and support, as long as you lead the way. I am Harry to your Sally, for when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of the life to start as soon as possible. I’m happy to have you in my life and look forward to many years to come. I am the gate keeper

8/4/13

Well the wedding was a huge success! There may have been a few bumps along the road and I'm happy to say that everything went according to plan. And even though we didn't get the sunshine the weather channel promised, we still were lucky to have it not rain on us. A little on the cold side. I wanted to thank my bridesmaids for sticking with it, blue lips and everything and the groomsmen for the entertainment.

The wedding party!

The ceremony was short and sweet just like Tyrel and I wanted it, our vows were non traditional, cheesy, and fun which describes Tyrel and I's relationship. Everything was perfect, all the way up to the I dos.

See the above picture, that is Tyrel surprising me with my wedding ring, that I wasn't expecting to get!

The story is, we both ordered our wedding rings at the same, but mine was going to take 3 weeks to get here. Hoping it would get here in time, I waited patiently for an email saying when my ring would get here. 4 days before the wedding, Ty got an email saying the ring was on it's way but it wasn't going to get here until Saturday, where we would be in Lincoln City already. I was super bummed out at first but had a plan to use a different ring for the wedding and then use my sister's ring for pictures. (We have the exact same ring)

So the ceremony started and it was time for the ring exchange. Ty opens the box to get the ring out, and it was MY wedding ring. The one that I ordered! It was a nice lovely surprise and you can tell by the facial expressions below, Ty was really proud of himself and I was really happy to receive the wedding ring I wanted.

Afterwards was the reception where we ate, danced and had fun. I appreciate all the love and support we received from our family and thank you to all who showed up. You made the day great by being there for us. Now I have a big pile of pictures to go through so until then here are some of my favorites!

On my way!
