5 more days!

Last weekend I spent the weekend in Portland to celebrate my bachelorette party. We started the night at Darcelles's. If you haven't been there yet, I highly recommend it. It was amazing and if you go to the later show you get special surprise at the end! HA!

We ended the night dancing until they kicked us out (well not really, but you get the idea). I had so much fun and am pretty happy with how it turned out. Tomorrow marks my last day at work as a "single" women and then on Sunday I'm finally getting married! I can't believe this day has come. In 5 days, I will become Mrs. Farley!

The next day... :)

The great outdoors

"Ive never felt time spent among nature to be a waste of time"

I found this quote on facebook and thought it was perfect for me. I love spending time outside every chance I can get. It's peaceful being with nature, watching and exploring. I love going on walks and discovering new trails to get places.

Everyday is a new adventure!

P90x

My struggle with weight loss has hopefully come to an end! I've been hearing a lot of good things about the P90x series and decided to give it try! I'm currently in my 2nd week and so far it has kicked my butt, and motivated me to stay fit. Everyday is a different workout, working on different muscle groups.

The program goes in Phases- counting 3 total. You workout everyday (having one day being a chose between resting or stretching) And then after 30 days, it changes up the workout routine. You do this 3 times, adding up to 90 days; hence the 90. I'm currently in Phase 1

Bring it!

Ps I should mention that Tyrel is doing the program as well with me. He is doing the more extreme one to build muscle. I'm doing the lean version to focus more on weight loss. Both of us are ready to change our ways and live a more healthy life style!

Weekend fun: part 2!

So my amazing 5 day weekend finally concluded. We were up early, and stayed busy all day. Needless to say I'm very tired. But in the end it was well worth it!

Sunday we spent the day at the beach! Well most of the time was spent on the bay front and because we had a late start we were only able to make it to one beach. The weather was absolutely beautiful though!

What's a visit to the bay front without some Carmel corn and cotton candy?

On Monday I would usually be at work but because it's summer and numbers are really low I wasn't needed so I was given the day off. The weather was beautiful and the day was sent at the pool with my siblings!

Weekend fun: Part 1

This weekend so far has been awesome, and it's not even close to being finished! Thursday was 4th of July. Spent the day at home relaxing, after cleaning and disinfection every inch of my classroom... There is a very contagious virus going around and it spreads like wild fire. Anyway we knew this weekend would be busy because I knew that it was a weekend that Ty didn't have to work so we made plans to be able to do stuff together. Thursday was my recovery day and it ended with doing some fireworks with my family and enjoyed some smores.

Ended the night watching the fireworks display with front row seats! Having a fiance as one of the pyros that shoots off the display as it's perks ;)

You can just feel the heat!

On Friday Tyrel and I went to the courthouse and picked up our marriage license! It all feels real now and can't believe that in just 4 weeks I'm going to be married

Today Ty and I spent the day at Silver Falls State Park hiking. I've never been there before but it was well worth the trip. It was absolutely beautiful! We did the medium length trail which looped us around and ended up being 5.3 miles. There is a longer one we plan on doing next time, giving us the opportunity to see all 10 waterfalls

Well that's all I have time for. It's been a long day and my bed is calling my name. Tomorrow is another day full of adventures and I need to be all rested up for it.
