Carnival fun!
Yesterday was our annual school carnival. I went last year for the first time and had a lot of fun. This year was a lot of fun as well, and I was able to bring my little brother with me. He was so excited and ended up bouncing around from one game to the next. And then the last 40 minutes he spent on the bouncy slide. There was popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones and food. It was a huge turn out and I hope my school was able to earn lots of money. Overall successful night if you ask me
After taking my brother home, my mom sent me this video of him. I would say that he really enjoyed himself :)

Enjoying the outdoors and watching my brother go to prom!
I've been working out for almost 2 months now. It's been hard and even when I feel like giving up, I wake up the next day and keep on trying. I've been following the p90x program and according to the calender Saturdays are my rest days. Well sometimes I use my rest days to go out and enjoy the outdoors which is what I did on Saturday. It was a beautiful day the temperature dropped from the heat we experience during the week. It felt nice walking. I actually prefer it instead of being stuck inside. I did so well that I ended up setting new goals!
I was pretty proud of myself and I was enjoying the walk I didn't even realize I had walked that far!
Later that night I had planned on babysitting for my parents while they had dinner and drinks. My little brother, who is now 18, was off to his senior prom!! I can't believe how old he is and how close he is to graduating from high school. And then starting in fall he will be starting collage. AH! I was just looking at old pictures of him from when he was a boy. So tiny and now he is taller then me.
I guess they can't stay little forever. It was fun comparing the different pictures from when he was little to his prom pictures. Oh and he has a girlfriend. This coming for the boy who always thought girls had cooties haha. Anyway, he looked good in a tux and hope he had fun

Mother's Day
I know that there are a lot of post today about their mom's being "the world's greatest mother" but I know for sure that my mom is one of them. I've always been close to my mother, always able to talk to her and tell her anything. I'm still like that. It's because of her that I've become the person that I am today. She pushed me to be the best that I could be. She was there for emotional support through every relationship and break up. Always willing to listen when life had me down but when it was appropriate she told me to keep my head held high and move on. She was there for every swim meet, on the side lines pushing me to do my best. Even if I didn't do my best she was always proud of me. During times that I was scared and worried after constant ER visits, she reassured me that everything was going to be ok.
I'm not perfect and even when I was going through my "rebellious" phase, the constant fights and mean words that were said were always forgiven. My mom is my support group, my life coach, and my mentor. She taught me to love thy neighbor and always treat people the way you want to be treated. Here's to you mom. Happy Mother's Day!

Easter part 2
The best part about being married is that you have the opportunity to have 2 of the same holiday! One is spent with my family and the other is spent with Tyrel's family. Well technically they are my family too but you get what I mean. Tyrel had to work during Easter weekend which meant no traveling outside of Corvallis. Luckily my parents live in Corvallis so we were able to spend Easter with my big family!
This past weekend was Tyrel's weekend off so Sunday we headed to Sweet Home to have an Easter dinner with his Granny. It was so nice to see his Granny. She has always been so loving and welcomed me as part of the family even before we were ever married. And now that we are married she is happy to say that "she finally has a granddaughter." I loved the seeing the smile on her face as she said that and it just made my heart melt!
Anyway, it was so nice to see her and his uncle. I haven't seem them since the wedding and the last holiday I spent with them was Easter a year ago! After eating we had the traditional egg hunt, but because it was raining Granny hid all the eggs inside the house. I will admit Granny is pretty good at hiding eggs because it took us a good 15 minutes to find all the eggs. And we even missed one but didn't realize it until we were leaving.
Long overdue trip that turned out to be a great day!

Easter weekend
The weekend went by way too fast! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Tyrel and I spent the day at my parents house where we feasted and played games. The food was delicious as always. There was so much food we are currently eating the leftovers in the fridge.
Anyway I don't have time write a big long post so here are some pictures to enjoy
